Its that time of the year when all your favorites go on summer break and you feel betrayed, abandoned, lost even😭😭😭😭😭😭😭…No matter, life has to go on. Here’s a guide to some of the series you should look out for that will somewhat fill up that hole blasted so suddenly;

  1. L.As Finest

This series follows Burnett, who last was seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel. She now has left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna, a working mom with an equally complex past, Burnett is pushed to examine whether her unapologetic lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret. These two women don’t agree on much, but they find common ground when it comes to taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles.

Gabrielle Union is back. Pairing up with Jessica Alba they make up the perfect L.A cop duo.

Is this a black version of Rizzoli and Isles blended in with Bad Boys??? Why are summer tv shows this bad?? The only reason I watch this show is for Jessica Alba. I know G.U said to stop blasting black actresses but this girl not only disappointed me in that Being Mary Jane finale but also in this series where she looks like she is trying too hard. She is holding the gun all wrong, the stunt guy really struggled with those fight scenes I’m sure, a smile almost cracks at the side of her lips when playing bad cop, the ‘bad cop’ in itself is not believable, did they have to go overboard with her sexuality?i don’t think so…there are just too many wrong things on this.

They get points for her (G.Us) backstory, script, and effects but I wish, I really wish they didn’t bring diversity into whatever this would’ve otherwise been. TV should be entertaining and not letting the world know your political dramas. We all have goons governing us, we don’t feel the need to make statements in our shows, it’s depressing enough knowing they are there..just saying…
