Did you know that after the endless mouth watering action scenes in Avengers: Infinity War, that resulted in billions wiped off the entire universe on a snap of finger, that the next Avengers…the Endgame…would be even more colossal than all the other Marvel movies combined?

Marvel achieved an incredible feat in this thought provoking movie, especially given the facts listed below:

  1. Marvel Comics was founded a gorgeous 80 years ago on January 12, 1939! If you thought their recent spat of success was a coincidence and you want to do the same, think twice. Did you you know founder? The real Steve Jobs of the comics generation was a guy called Martin Goodman. A good man indeed.

    Marvel
  2. The Avengers saved the world AFTER the justice league had come and gone. Yea. Twice. In the comics and in the movies. Superman is so old school. And history repeats itself twice.
  3. Stan Lee was the genius writer and editor of the Marvel universe, all the way from 1961 and he makes a cameo posthumous appearance in Endgame 2018. Below are all the movies he made a cameo in. Some cameos are really really funny. Some are sad.
  4.  Iron Man was the key to the end game. Also to Infinity War and definitely in Age of Ultron. Now you understand why the very first movie was an Iron Man movie – they started by introducing their star, Tony Stark, and ended about talking about the Avengers Initiative in the post credits scene. If that movie failed it would have meant no avengers. But luckily for everyone, someone went back in time and changed the timeline!
  5. Avengers endgame has arguably the most intriguing story twists of tale in the entire Avengers universe. The bad guy dies at the start. And at the end. What a movie.
  6. Wakanda is not part of end game even though Avengers: Endgame was made before the release of the black panther. Hmm. Lupita Nyongo is also missing in action. Also absent is bad guy Daniel Kaluuya. But we got respite by some spectacular comeback action from the Black Panther himself.
  7. The original Thor’s hammer makes a comeback too. How? I need to watch the movie again. But in spectacular fashion, its wielded by another superhero. Incredibly awesome.
  8. Loki did something so sinister it wasn’t even fully explained /resolved in the movie. What exactly happened when he took the Space stone??
  9. Avengers Endgame running time is 3 hours and 2 minutes. Exactly the same time i took to write this review.
  10. There are at least 22 superheroes in Avengers Endgame. Fully packed.
  11. Famous lines from Avengers: Endgame
    1. THOR: “I WENT FOR THE HEAD”
    2. NEBULA: “I WASN’T ALWAYS LIKE THIS”
    3. THOR: “I’M TOTALLY FROM THE FUTURE”
    4. IRON MAN: “I NEEDED YOU”
    5. BLACK WIDOW: “WHATEVER IT TAKES”
    6. HAWKEYE: “IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME”
    7. IRON MAN: “I AM IRON MAN”
    8. MORGAN STARK: “CHEESEBURGERS”
    9. CAPTAIN AMERICA: “NO, I DON’T THINK I WILL”
    10. IRON MAN: “I LOVE YOU 3000”
  12. The funniest part of Avengers Endgame must have been the scene where we see Thor lose hope in life and….grow a tummy…a fat situation that ultimately almost costs him his life. What was your funniest scene?
  13. The hulk also shows a lot of humour, with his new anger free foodie life. That’s really was unexpected! Worse than Thor’s beer belly!
  14. The facial features of Thanos in Endgame were generated to some degree by Artificial Intelligence! Is this the end of humans as actors?? A new software called Masquerade was made that “learned” facial expressions of the actor and somehow “acted” them onscreen. Amazing.
  15. To make matters more complicated, Avengers Endgame raw data was 15TB in size. Man, how long can we take to download all that? Hmm…better we wait for 5G. 4G still has bundles.
  16. The opening scene shows Iron Man stuck in a space ship, running out of water, food and oxygen…with only days to go. He gets rescued by….a woman…while he had another woman beside him…and ends up being received by…another woman! That’s IRON man!
  17. Antman provides a clue to the Avengers solving the predicament in Endgame. But he doesn’t have the full answer. I felt like that is life….sometimes we know what should be done but we don’t know how to do…just that it needs to get done…a predicament indeed.
  18. The people who were turned to dust in Infinity War came back to life. But not those who died ‘normally’. Vision doesn’t get to say goodbye.
  19. These superheros came back to life in Endgame: Black Panther, Spiderman, Doctor Strange, Winter Soldier, Scarlet, all the Guardians of the Galaxy team, the Wasp and Shuri.
  20. Tony Stark compares Thor to “the dude” in The Big Lebowsky movie. That was so awesome. The dude rocks…man! What do you think Walter? (pun intended).
  21. Did Thanos die or just disappear in end game? Hmm…
  22. What happens to Gamora at the end of endgame?
  23. Does it mean losers are playing the video game Fortnite and drinking beer in their smelly huts like Thor does? And does it mean there are fellow losers who will hang out together not knowing they are losers too? Endgame is deep.
  24. Did we just see a female lineup of stars in endgame the likes of which we have never seen in any movie? #metoo
  25. Avengers: Endgame movie production budget was 156 million USD. Its marketing budget was 200 million USD. Did they really need to market this one?
  26. It made 2.75 billion USD gross at the box office. Those are the results of a super successful movie.
  27. Endgame was directed by the Russo brothers who also directed You, Me, and Dupree, a movie that had a budget of $54m and made $130m at the box office.
  28. One of the directors, Joe Russo, makes a cameo appearance in Endgame…just as he did in You, Me, and Dupree
  29. In Endgame, references are made to almost all the preceding avengers movies…from Iron Man, to Thor Ragnarock, to Hulk, to Antman, to Captain America and all the avengers films….its life a history parade, made in colour.
  30. There is probably going to be a new Captain America. And this time, he might be black! I think this was a big up to President Obama. And the movie Spiderverse.
  31. Spiderman is still too much of a kid…pretty much the only teenager in the house. But nobody likes this version of Spiderman…no wonder the latest movie has been a huge flop! Is it worth even seeing? Fact is, the opening scene of spiderman home coming features scenes from Endgame. Your choice whether to watch it.
  32. How many people were actually in the final battle scene? I’m still counting…
  33. This was the first time that the phrase “Avengers Assemble” was made in an Avengers film. Avengers…
  34. The very old Ant Man who came out of the time machine while it was being tested was acted by Lee More, who was actually aged 93 years old! He died shortly thereafter. what a life well lived.
  35. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America is not able to lift Thor’s hammer,(he almost does), yet in Endgame he is able to. Why?
  36. Pepper becomes Rescue…the iron lady…with her own suit and powers.
  37. What are these Pym particles and why are they limited in quantity? I was waiting for someone to become Goliath…
  38. Why are the comics numbered yet the movies, including end game, not numbered?
  39. “We’re in the endgame now.” was a comment by Doctor Strange in the Avengers: Infinity Stones movie. He saw the future, didn’t like it, but accepted it.
  40. When Ant-man was looking for names on the memorial, all the names were not in alphabetical order, yet he was logically moving across them…how is that possible?
  41. When Thor and Rocket are in the past discussing their mission, a disposable coffee cup with a lid can be seen next to Rocket while he is standing on a pillar.
  42. When Professor Hulk is running through the first time travel tests with Ant-Man, Captain America is seen standing between Black Widow and Hulk. When the camera cuts to Ant-Man and back to Hulk, Captain America is now on Hulk’s right hand side.
  43. When Scott is eating a taco, Rhodey lands next to him and accidentally blows the taco away. When Hulk comes around, he holds out two tacos for Scott, who is then only seen taking one.
  44. When Captain America enters the elevator to retrieve the staff from the Hydra Agents after the First Avengers in 2012, Jasper Sitwell is seen using a Samsung S6 which was released in 2015.
  45. There are no sex scenes, nudity or other wise potentially embarrassing scenes in ”Avengers Endgame”. It’s totally safe to watch with your parents, grandparents, pastor, mail carrier, plumber, lawyer, dentist, etc.
  46. “Asgardians of the Galaxy.” seems to describe Thors new life after endgame.
  47. Prior to Avengers: Endgame, Chris Evans (Captain America) and Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) had previously acted in the film Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World.
  48. Why was Thanos telling Nebula about his retirement plans?
  49. Is Captain Marvel an intergalactic uber driver who delivered Tony Stark home or was she meant to save everyone since she was the one who Nick Fury paged at the end of Avengers Infinity War? I think she was out-starred by Tony Stark (maybe a case of men vs women in the modern day boardroom) and so Iron Man saved the day…i think she got sidelined.
  50. Before the Avengers discover a way back into time travel, there is despondency in the world…hope is lost…even while they are there…it begs the question: can we lose so much we lose hope? Thanos had destroyed half the universe in Avengers Infinity War. Now he was raising the stake even more….could he have destroyed everyone?

Those are the 50 incredible details about Avengers: Endgame, even though it seems to have been all for one lesson: To change the universe, just snap your fingers like Michael Jackson!
