Assassination Classroom Anime Series follows the everyday lives of an exceptionally powerful and invincible octopus-like teacher and his students dedicated to the task of assassinating him to prevent Earth from being destroyed

Assassination Classroom is an action, supernatural and comedy television anime series being directed by Seiji Kishi based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūsei Matsui, which began airing from January 9, 2015 and will run for 22 episodes.

The world is under threat from an extremely dangerous and powerful creature, it has destroyed 70% of the Moon with its power, causing it to remain into the shape of a crescent moon for eternity. The creature goes further to claim that within a year, Earth will also be destroyed by him, but he offers humanity a chance to prevent its doom.

He starts working as a homeroom teacher at Kunugigaoka Junior High School in class 3-E,   where he not only teaches ordinary subjects, but the ways of assassination to his pupils. So that they can manage to kill him. (Pretty bizarre). A reward of 10 billion Yen (i.e. 100 million dollars) is assured, by the Japanese administration, to whomever among the school children succeeds in slaying the teacher, whom they have termed “Koro Sensei”, which loosely means unkillable teacher, because killing him has proven to be an almost unmanageable task, as not only does he have numerous abilities at his disposal, including the capacity of moving at Mach 20,(the fastest jet moves at Mach 3) but he is also the best teacher they’ve ever had.(Ironic, but deep into the series you will understand why).

A live-action film was released in Japan on March 21, 2015. It has grossed over $20 million. It was the tenth highest-grossing Japanese film at the Japanese box office in 2015. A second film, the sequel titled Assassination Classroom: Graduation will be released in 2016. I really love anime so much I give this series a rating of 9/10 for its imaginative story.
