To investigate those claims, “Evil” enlists the help of a central trio, each with their own perspectives on how to approach each successive inquiry.
- Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers) is a psychologist with experience working on criminal cases, assessing the cognitive behaviors of individuals accused of the worst crimes imaginable.
- David Acosta (Mike Colter), an investigator for the Catholic Church who aims to one day become a priest.
- Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi), a combination tech adviser and all-purpose handyman. Gathering physical proof, he provides this growing team with the evidence needed to suss out whether the inexplicable circumstances they’re called to look into are acts of God, proof of evil, or some murkier truth in between.
Being a sci-fi/supernatural fan,i love and hate this series.
Reasons to love ;
- Kristen is haunted by a demon in her sleep. she struggles to make sense of it as she is not a believer but i’m glad it still doesn’t make sense.
2. David is desperate for a connection with God. He even claimed to have visions and seen God..twice. Its been a while and he is growing impatient. He turns to drugs and calls whatever he sees, visions from God.
3. Dr Leland Townsend(Michael Emerson) is a mystery. i love a good old fashioned mystery.
Reason to hate(subtly);
- All the cases so far have a logical explanation.
