Ghost in the shell is one fantastic effects filled colourful and action filled science fiction movie with one key controversial flaw: an American woman plays a Japanese woman’s role.

Based on the popular manga with the same name, the story is set in the future where humans are being enhanced with robotic technology to such an extent that one robot gets to have a real person as an enhancement in one of the crazy projects of the movie.

The most interesting point for me was the hacking..and the mysterious hacker. How someone can hack into a mind and how it looks is best portrayed in this movie, which you might sense also looks a lot like ‘The Matrix’.

The car scenes are especially good with an ambush that is almost perfect – almost beats The Dark Knight Rises car chase scene between Batman and Joker.

Overall, if you love science fiction and computer stuff – like me – you will love this movie!
