Kubo and the two strings Review

Review by James Maina

A great animated story about a young kid saved by his mother against all odds to end up growing in a cave near a remote Japanese village.

If you need inspiration for your kids to start playing guitar, this movie will do just that. Kubo is an emotional tale from start to finish, where we see the life of a young Kubo turned inside out when he makes a single mistake against his mother’s advice: to stay outside after dark.

The strange thing about Kubo is he has a magical musical instrument shamisen which when he plays the two strings on it, it somehow manipulates pieces of paper everywhere and……before i spoil the story, why don’t you have a look at this most wonderful animation and tell me what you thing.

It does have some loose ends and the ending…is the ending a good ending really?
