Meryl Streep “the best actress of her generation”.
By Mumbua Nzula Nzyoka.
Meryl Streep is a formidable actress, in fact, one of the best Hollywood as ever had to offer. She has the rare ability of disappearing into a role and leaving all aspects of herself at the door. This ability is one of the major reasons she is believable in every role she plays. It is really no wonder that the media has referred to her more often than not as “the best actress of her generation.”
In April, Michael Schulman launched his book, Her Again: Becoming Meryl Streep, a biography on the actress. According to Vanity Fair, the biography discusses how Meryl Streep “battled Dustin Hoffman, retooled her role and won her first Oscar.”
The book is available on Amazon, in the meantime here are 5 Meryl Streep movies to keep you occupied.
