Storks 2016

Currently screening a Century Cinemax at the Junction, this is one rib cracking animation that will make even the most cheeky kid laugh out loud!

Storks are white feathered birds similar to the ones found in Lake Nakuru. In this movie though, they are a very interesting lot, previously deliveries babies but now making deliveries all over the world for an internet giant (read amazon).

Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, lands in hot water when the Baby Factory produces an adorable but wholly unauthorized girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble, Junior and his friend Tulip (Katie Crown), the only human on Stork Mountain, race against time to make their first baby drop before the boss (Kelsey Grammer) finds out.

The Trolls are small creatures who live in an constant state of happiness, singing, dancing and hugging all day long. However, they are discovered by the Bergens, large creatures who never feel happy but discover that they can feel happy for a moment if they eat a Troll. Will the Trolls and Bergens co-exist? Must watch for kids.

Ice Age: Collision Course, July 22nd, 2016
Ice Age Collision Course
Ice Age Collision Course

For Ice Age lovers, this is a must watch continuation of the ever threatening tale of mammoths, a tiger and a sloth trying to survive extinction.

In Collision Course, Peaches is getting married and Manny is tense about losing his daugther. Sid is the voluteer wedding planner – we can guess how that goes! What he doesnt plan is to meet the love of his life, and lose her and win her back again and almost lose her again!

There are some noteworthy moments in  this film – such as the goat part, or the two squirrels making jokes all over the place with explosives. Its not a must watch, but it is a pleasant one.

Sausage Party, August 12th, 2016

Sausage PartyThis one is NOT for kids….the jokes are way too sick. It is R-Rated. But it is still worth a mention as who can ever think of looking at life through the eyes of a sausage? Very unique animation suitable for adults.

One piece of advice: Don’t watch while eating!

Kung Fu Panda 3, January 29th, 2016

kung fu panda 3Who does not love Po? Kung Fu Panda 3 is arguably on of the best animated movies of 2016.

How does Po defeat an enemy who get stronger with each and every fight he wins, grabbing power from his foes? This fight seems small as compared to finding his natural father and birthplace.
