Love it or Hate it, Nairobi Diaries is a captivating TV show showing on K24. Featuring socialites who can barely speak proper English, we can’t really define it. Is it a reality TV series? A gossip show? A bachelorette kind of thing? A beauty peagant? Kenya’s socialite based “Empire”? Sex in the city Nairobi-style, without the sex?
Unfortunately it is all these things rolled up in one. The show stars entrepreneur and socialite Vera Sidika, fashion stylist Silvia Njoki, musician and actress Ella Ciru, NGO ambassador and student Gertrude Murunga, architect Kiki Diang’a, fitness instructor Marjolein Blokland and socialite and singer Pendo.
